We are each unique individuals and experience stress and grief in our own way. Sunset Doulas Pinellas will assess each person/ family and offer services to help address the areas that are most stressful. We want to help families communicate with each other in ways that are supportive and helpful. Our goal is to be able to aid persons as they journey thru the final chapter of their life.
Sunset Doulas Pinellas is able to provide services in your Pinellas county home. Or we are able to provide tele-health visits to individuals who reside in or outside of Pinellas county
WHAT IS AN End of Life DOULA?
An End of Life Doula is a trained professional who provides emotional, and practical support to elderly individuals and their families as they navigate the aging process and end-of-life stages. Compassionate and engaged, End of Life Doulas serve individuals and families living with serious or terminal illness, collaborating with local doctors, home care, hospice, and palliative care providers to ensure that each individual has the comprehensive support they need.

With combined experience of more than 60 years, we stand ready to provide non-judgmental, inclusive and affirming teaching, support, resources and care for a peaceful experience for all involved.

At Sunset Doulas Pinellas, our multidisciplinary teams offer our years of experience as professional pastoral care, clinical social worker and nurse practitioner. We are uniquely qualified to address the many different aspects of a progressive illness. We believe that families and loved ones deserve a holistic approach when addressing end-of-life issues. The sacred transition of a soul should be honored, and we strive to create a calming presence during this time. Our End of Life Doulas aim to alleviate the overwhelming feelings that individuals and families often experience when facing the difficult decisions surrounding the impending loss of life. Each of our team members are Certified End of Life Doulas.
