Rev. Lissa Bradford, M.Div.

Lissa Bradford brings 17 years’ of experience in health care chaplaincy, specializing in supporting persons at the end of their lives. She was a hospice chaplain in Maine and Florida, working in private homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes and hospice in-patient care units.

Lissa is a skilled facilitator of difficult and sensitive conversations, and she has provided education and, in turn, supported complicated choices and the assessment of care and end-of life options for thousands of patients and families. Lissa is adept at “meeting people where they are,” to bring a wholistic, spiritual component to patients and families, as that is desired or indicated.

She is an experienced officiant for ceremonies of all types, including the renewal of wedding vows; weddings and commitment services; memorial or funeral services of all types, releasing of old ‘baggage’ rituals and more.

Lissa is a Certified Death Doula, a Board Certified Chaplain, an ordained Minister in a Protestant denomination. She is a Certified Professional Life Coach and holds a Master of Divinity degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA. Lissa earned a bachelor of science, dual degree in journalism and public relations from Utica University in New York. Lissa has lived in 7 states: New York, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Illinois, California, Maine and now Florida, since 2016. She is an avid animal lover and a proponent and advocate for rescue pets. She and her husband live in north Pinellas county.
